* Removed unnecessary dependency in `wgpu` on `hashbrown`.
* Removed unused dependencies in `naga-test`.
* Moved some dependencies in `wgpu-test` to `[dev-dependencies]`
(see comment for why this is worth doing).
Candidates were discovered by `cargo clippy -- -Wunused-crate-dependencies`.
This command reports whether each dependency is unused in each *crate*,
so it has false positives when a dependency is used by only some crates
in a package, but it is still useful as a short-list.
The warnings right now all entail `unmatched-skip` /
`unmatched-skip-root` that have (likely) gotten stale since various
automated Renovate bumps where `Cargo.lock` changes don't require the
corresponding unmatched duplicate to be removed from `.deny.toml` again.
An exception has been made for `unmatched-organization` since we don't
always have a `git` dependency on a fork in `gfx-rs`, resulting in
a warning about that orga being in `sources.allow-org.github`.
* [wgpu-hal] Upgrade `glutin` to `0.31`
`glutin 0.30` onwards completely refactored its internals to no longer
be reliant on `winit`, as they (by default) have no direct relation
except needing to perform _some_ operations (platform-specific) at
strategic times in window creation and event loop handling. Most of
that is handled by a new `glutin-winit` introp crate, while the core
`glutin` crate now exclusively focuses on wrapping the various OpenGL
context APIs (CGL, EGL, WGL, ...).
This does result in a little more verbose handling to get the right
`GLDisplay`, `GLConfig`, `GLContext` and `GLSurface`, but gives much
more control and makes all intricacies more explicit. Most of the
code was copied from `glutin 0.31`'s example crate, with the code for
transparency support removed.
Note that the example doesn't at all handle event loop events properly:
resizes and redraws are not listened to, and mobile-specific surface
events (`Resumed` and `Suspended`) are equally ignored.

Implements timer queries via write_timestamp on Metal for encoders (whenever timer queries are available) and passes (for Intel/AMD GPUs, where we should advertise TIMESTAMP_QUERY_INSIDE_PASSES now).
Due to some bugs in Metal this was a lot harder than expected. I believe the solution is close to optimal with the current restrictions in place. For details see code comments.
