Bump husky & lint-staged versions
...
Also moved their configuration out of the package.json (following the single responsibility principle), which makes the package.json cleaner imo & is also what husky & lint-staged do in their own repos.

Adds prettier as a precommit step. This will enforce a single coding style in all files, help further developent and new contributors to open PRs that have no code formatting issues.

feat: add TypeScript typings ( #611 )

Resolves #600 .
Should not be published as a bugfix release of 1.4.x,
since it will cause duplicate definitions errors for TypeScript users that already use @types.
We should probably release this as v1.5.0.
